How We spent our 2009 Summer Break

Our 2009 Summer Break

We spent the 3rd week of June basking in the sun in Virginia Beach, VA.

Erica spent the last week of June and 1st week of July at the YMCA attending Swim Camp! She loved it! She now has several strokes in her repertoire to include the American crawl, the elementary back stroke, and the side stroke. Now she always wants to have a RACE!

During the month of July we celebrated Pam’s birthday and our 6th Wedding Anniversary!
Erica spent the month of July attending a Summer Enrichment Program at her school in the mornings and Camp in the afternoons with swimming 2 days a week and she had a blast!
We enrolled Daniel in a new school, his first day was July 1. After a small bout with transition angst, he got right into the groove and has not missed a beat!

August always brings lots of events to the M-W household. Vacation trips, Erica's Birthday, Daniel's birthday and back to school! We started the month off in Princeton, NJ celebrating Erica’s Birthday at a really cool Residence Inn which served as or home base while we visited Sesame Place in Langhorn, PA.

We have been going to Sesame Place for Erica’s birthday since 2005.

We ended our Vacation with a couple of days in Rehoboth, DE at the beach.

Daniel's 3rd Birthday is on August 13th. !

It has been a great summer break. Hard to believe that school will be back in session in about 20 days.
